WordPress 2012 In Review

Call me silly, but I always look forward to seeing my total blog stats for the year.    This year they make it easy to share with all of you!    I will have some fun swatch posts going up in the next couple of days, so stay tuned!

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 23,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 5 Film Festivals

FOTD w/ Brazen’s Oblivion and Fast & Loose

I’m heading to an ugly Christmas sweater party tonight so I wanted to do a green, gold and red look.  I chose all Brazen colors for my eyes and my newest favorite red lippie by Geek Chic, Sweet Transvestite.

Face:  MOI primer under Urban Decay NAKED foundation in 1.0.  Finished with custom powder.

Cheeks: Aromaleigh Corset

Lips:  MAC liner  in Kiss Me Quick under Geek Chic’s Sweet Transvestite

Eyes:  TFSI under Tick: Tock’s Infinity base in Milky Way.  Brazen colors used:  Oblivion used in outer V and blended well up beyond crease.  Fast & Loose used on middle of lid as well as lower lid and Pharaoh used on inner corner of upper lid.   Pharaoh also used to blend out Oblivion up towards brow.   Immaculate used to blend up to brow with Ice Queen applied just under brow as a highlighter.    Scorching used on inner corner of eye.   Bruja foiled with Duraline as liner on upper lid and one coat of black mascara on lashes.   Brazen brow powder in Jane on brows.

FOTD With A Darling Girl Christmas Story

Face:  Smashbox primer under Urban Decay Naked foundie in 1.0 and set with custom finishing powder.

Cheeks:  Meow Annana blush

Lips:  Geek Chic’s Sweet Transvestite over nude lipliner.

Eyes:  TFSI under Tick:Tock Infinity primer in Milky Way.   Darling Girl colors used: Fra-Gee-Lay used in outer V and blended out.  Tapestry Of Obscenities used in middle of lid as well as middle of lower lash line.   The Flagpole incident was used on inner corner of upper and lower lids and Brazen’s Immaculate was used to blend everything out to brow.  Darling Girl F-Dash-Dash-Dash foiled as liner on upper lid and a little black liner was used on lower lash line.  One coat of black mascara and Brazen’s brow powder in Jessica on brows.

Venomous Cosmetics Swatches

I had just a few Venomous colors left to swatch so here they are!    These were swatched over Detrivore primer and photographed under a bright light with no flash.

From left to right Gold Dust, Salmon Pink and Mojave Green.

BFTE Jewel Collection Swatches

Beauty From The Earth (bfte) has added a new collection called the Jewel Palette.  It’s not a palette of pressed shadows but a good sized sample set of 16 loose pigments.  These were swatched over Detrivore primer and photographed under a bright light with no flash.  Also available but not swatched are Sweet Gum, Rockstar, Secret Garden and Midnight Kisses as I’ve already swatched those colors in other posts.

First up and Pumped, Treason, Vixen, Dragon Slayer and Spellbound.   Pumped is absolutely gorgeous in person.

Next we’ve got Spank Me, Livid, Atomic Teal, Heat and Dangerous.   Atomic Teal is an absolute stunner.

And then we’ve got Nebula, Emerald and Tipsy blush.

This collection can be found here:

Morgana Cryptoria Swatches

Today I’ve swatched a couple of different things from Morgana Cryptoria.   I’ve got some Halloween pigments swatched as well as a some lippies and cream shadows.  All products were swatched over Detrivore primer and photographed under a bright light with no flash.

First up we have Glowing Ghoul, Will-O-Wisp, Alexandria, Phantasmagoria and Eye Of Newt. Alexandria is absolutely stunning in person and is particularly pretty layered over Medusa’s Magic cream shadow.

Next we have HemoGoblin, and cream shadows in Grapevine, Buttercream and Medusa’s Magic.   Medusa’s Magic is amazing!

And lastly here are the lippies from left to right:
