It’s me again, hotties! Now that I’ve quit my day job, you’ll never be able to get rid of me. lol Today I had the pleasure of unpacking the new delicious goodies from Nocturne Alchemy. We’ve got LE Velvet Butters and a new *very* LE perfume oil. As always these butters and the oil and meant to be layered and worn together or separately as you choose. The butters are purposely lightly scented to not to clash with your chosen scent of the day.
The perfume for Devil Cake Kobalt: Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Frosting, Sugar, Evil, Cocoa Dust, Kobalt Vanilla Orchid, Egyptian Musk and Vanilla Musk.
Did you read the scent list? Yes hotties…..for you this is scented with pure evil. What does evil smell like, you ask? Interestingly enough it smells a lot like an expensive chocolate cake.
Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Frosting, Sugar, Evil and Cocoa dust.
Finally! I finally have my grubby little hands on my Darling Girl, “Oh The Horror” LE collection. I had to break into them, gaze stupidly at them all and swatch right away! These are all inspired by classic horror and Susan took customer suggestions for names and colors. I suggested Ripley’s Cat and Death By Unicorn. These were all swatched over primer and photographed in direct sunlight.
First up with have Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman, Bad Ash, Bathed In Blood, Camp Blood and Creature From the Black Lagoon. The standout for me was Bad Ash!
Next is Death By Unicorn, Frankenstein, Go Go Godzilla, Heads Will Roll and Here’s Johnny! I can’t wait to wear Death By Unicorn and Frankenstein together!
Up next is I Am Pain, King Kong, Lonely Assassins, Monster Within and Pumpkinhead. I love, love, love Most of these. I’m a sucker for orange so Pumpkinhead will get a lot of wear. I liked the out of focus photos because it showed all the sparkle.
And now there’s Ripley’s Cat, Seven Days Later, Sleep Kills, The Count, The Invisible Man and The Mummy. Ripley’s Cat was one of the names that I suggested so of course I love it!
I found a lonely jar that I forgot and also wanted to swatch the GWP. So here we have The Boogeyman and Inamorata.
Hello hotties! Well, the weather is starting to turn chilly, the nights and getting longer and delicious and delightful things are arriving at The Rhinestone Housewife.
Fresh into the shop we’ve got some super limited edition *exclusive* goodies from Blooddrop Fineries. The following items are available now for a limited time. Once they are sold out, they will go *poof* forever!
The Pumpkin Diamond is a one of a kind stone in a brilliant, bold pumpkin color. This perfume is warm pumpkin cake with nutmeg, vanilla, sweet orange, dried apricots, fresh ginger, aged patchouli, and African myrrh. It also mimics the Pumpkin Diamond’s color!
Your favorite cuticle treatment recreated just for the Autumn season! I’ve swapped out the sweet almond oil for ultra nourishing pumpkin seed oil and created a delightfully, delicious fragrance of pumpkin spices (vanilla, nutmeg, allspice, clove and rum) to accompany the oils and butters!
This linen spray is the charming scent of walking through an apple orchard in the morning; crisp, fresh apples, the scent of sweet, dew-damp bark and leaves, and warm black tea sweetened with honey. Available in 2oz and 4 oz
Warm, spicy nutmeg softened with vanilla.
Gorgeous rose absolute deepened and darkened with clove.
The Witchcraft & Wizardry collection from Geek Chic Cosmetics has been highly anticipated by indie cosmetics aficionados everywhere! I received mine about a week ago but just recently had a chance to swatch them up for you. These were swatched over a primer and due to the weather, photographed under a bright light with no flash.
From left to right we have Mischief Managed, House Elf, Golden Trio, Headmaster, Always and You Know Who.

I love a naturally neutral made up face. I’ve been on a very monochromatic, neutral kick lately so that’s what I bring to you today! These photos were taken with a bright light indoors with no flash.
Face: Brazen Triple Threat primer under a custom foundation blend. Finished with custom powder.
Cheek: Brazen blush in Carnal
Lips: Brazen liquid lipstick in Mirage over Makeup Forever Aqua Lip in 12C
Eyes: Brazen Mastermind Primer all over lid. I used the MUA neutral palette for a simple color wash over my entire lid. A bit of white highlighter under the brow and one coat of black mascara. Brazen brow powder in Raquel.
Swatched out for you is Milani Runway Eyes palette in the primary colors (#17). I picked this up on a whim because of course I cannot resist bright, fun colored shadows. These are pressed shadows in a long strip palette. I swatched these over a primer and photographed under a bright light with no flash.
I found most of the colors pretty easy to work with except for the purple. The purple color didn’t seem to have a lot of pigment to it and I had to really layer it and add more primer to get it to show as much as the rest of the colors. Enjoy!
