Conjure Oils Les Fleurs de Mal Review

I am so happy to be able to bring you a review of the eagerly anticipated Les Fleurs de Mal by Conjure Oils.

Les Fleurs du Mal – The corrupted blood of ancient dragons is infused with patchouli black. The midnight musk petals from les Fleurs du Mal are caramelized cauldron bound with black opium, black fig and dark muscavadao sugar. Defiled deeply by the scent of smoke of crimson red leaves and Scandinavian churches ablaze, filling the crisp autumn air with sweet despair. Nema!

In vial: Red musk and just a hint if something juicy/fruity.

Wet on skin:  It’s dark and heavy with black and resinous sugar. The smokey opium is starting to swirl around.

Dry on skin: Well, the Dragon’s Blood has arrived and it’s a cloud of resinous, creamy goodness.  The sugar mellows a bit and wafts just a touch love lovely sweetness with the fig.

Verdict: Normally I don’t care for dragon’s blood, but this is different. It’s creamy and oh so rich.  This is a dark, resinous blend that would be great for those who like incense, resins and other smoky scents.  I bet this is going to age beautifully!

*Note – I accidentally layered this with Conjure Oils Hell Broth (Black coconut, almond blossom, toasted patchouli, nutmeg, beeswax and bubbling green sugar cane syrup) and it was magical!
